Position Description

IXL Learning, a company offering educational technology products to over 14 million students worldwide, is seeking a skilled Proposal Writer for a six-month contract. As a writer, you will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals, helping to establish a solid business relationship between the company and its customers.

Responsibilities

-Develop drafts of responses for proposal sections
-Analyze RFPs to understand the client’s proposal requirements
-Assist in creating strategy for proposal responses
-Work with sales, marketing, product and curriculum teams to gather information
-Collaborate with SMEs to tailor new and existing content to reflect win themes
-Develop high-quality, error-free, and professional proposal documents
-Ensure proposals are compliant with requirements
-Maintain and update proposal content library
-Provide copywriting services to sales/marketing teams as needed
-Support catalog bids and other proposal-related tasks as needed

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree
-3-5 years of proposal, grant, or copywriting experience
-Excellent English writing and grammar skills
-A deadline-driven individual who can multitask
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Applications
-Keen attention to detail and a focus on achieving clarity, quality, and consistency of each proposal document
-Knowledge of K-12 education field is a plus.
