Position Description

Ensemble Health Partners is a healthcare company that offers technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions to health systems across the United States. They are currently looking for experienced Insurance Authorization Specialists to join their team. The Insurance Authorization Specialist I will be responsible for selecting the appropriate medical records for patient safety, working with insurance companies and/or physician offices to complete insurance authorization requirements, and ensuring secure payment. The perfect candidate is one who is familiar with medical coding and billing systems, regulatory requirements, and appeals concepts and principles.

Responsibilities

– Select accurate medical records for patient safety;
– Identify the appropriate clinical records and submit the authorization request to the insurance company based on plan requirements for approval;
– Act as a liaison between the ordering physician and insurance company to ensure any and all requirements to secure approval are identified and communicated.

Qualifications

– High school diploma or GED
– 2+ years of Insurance Authorization experience
– Certification: CRCR Required within 9 months of hire
