In downtown San Francisco, Robert Half is seeking an Associate Attorney for a civil litigation defense company renowned for its outstanding mentorship program (hybrid telecommuting OK; or mostly remote for extremely experienced lawyers).
Responsibilities:
In addition to attending pre-trial court appearances, researching, writing, and arguing law and motion pleadings, handling the full range of discovery, taking and defending depositions, reporting case updates to clients directly, and possibly advocating at trial, the Associate is responsible for significant case management.

Requirements:
The following are the primary requirements for this Associate position:
- It is preferred that you have at least two years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, and/or personal injury;
- Experience in dispositive motion arguments and good depositions is preferred but not necessary;
- Dynamic, focused, an excellent team player, and appreciates being a tenacious advocate. Active and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
This position in a thriving, multi-office mid-sized law firm is on the partnership track. The income range is $120,000 to 170,000 per year, DOE, with hefty productivity bonuses handed out quarterly in addition to an annual merit bonus. 150+ billable hours each month are the goal.

Requirements
- Must be capable of analysis, legal research, and writing.
- Experience in civil litigation is preferred.
- Expertise with case management
- Having the temperament to succeed in a fast-paced setting that demands being exceptionally organized, managing several objectives, and Meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking
- Licensed lawyer in California
- High level of detail
