Position Description

Coty is looking for a skilled and artistic training and events expert to work as a National Education Executive for Gucci Beauty Luxury. The role requires 100% dedication to the Gucci Beauty brand and ensuring its expansion in Specialty Multi and Luxury Channels.

The National Education Executive will act as the face of the brand to the field team, retailers, and consumers. The role involves conducting retailer specific trainings, developing sales and education executives, supporting in-store events, and executing twice yearly large scale training seminars.

The position reports to the Director of MU Content, Artistry and Event Planning, and collaborates with the Director of Field Education and Events for both the Specialty Multi and Luxury Channels, instore Field Sales Team, and Education Executives.

Responsibilities

– Collaborating with Director of MU, Regional Education Executives and Sales teams to create compelling and effective trainings and training materials
– Conducting retailer specific trainings to drive sales and elevate knowledge and skills, especially artistry
– Developing Sales and Education Executives, Coordinators and Brand Ambassadors
– Ensuring full product knowledge, selling ceremony adaption and clientele building
– Supporting Director in planning and executing all aspects of twice yearly large scale training seminars
– Supporting in store events and sell through teams
– Interacting with clients on brand messaging, product education, and fulfilling consumer needs
– Leading Gucci Beauty events in key stores across the designated region providing clients with the ultimate luxury experience through elevated client discovery and makeup application in multiple formats: One-to-One , Personal Appointments, Consultation Style events, Master Class Format
– Participating and supporting Education Executives for the artistry portion during classroom onboarding & Seasonal Education meetings
– Identifying and communicating effective training initiatives, training needs, staff performance, and morale with Sales and Education teams, and meeting those gaps through In-store support
– Developing and executing in-Store learning activities to support core training priorities within the store environment
– Focusing on service & artistry skill development through technical and service-based education
– Leading the Make Up seminars to help nurture and elevate the artists community

Qualifications

– High School Diploma and Cosmetology License, and Makeup Certification preferred
– Minimum of 5 years in-store experience with Sales or Education background
– Luxury beauty experience in both installation and open-sell environments
– 80% travel required
– Professional portfolio showing artistry skills
– Strong oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills
– Confidence in public speaking
– Proven sales success
– Ability to manage and be accountable for schedule, budget & travel
– Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
