In order to help with the development of a how-to-type practical guide, Robert Half is looking for licensed attorneys with experience in renewable energy.
Responsibilities:
- Construct and revise a handbook on renewable and/or petroleum-based energy issues after conducting in-depth study.
- Create, go over, and make annotations on the form papers and clauses that are applicable to energy transactions.
- Keep an eye out for developments and news in the field of energy law.
Requirements:
- Current, active US State Bar Admission
- At least five years of recent experience as an attorney working with renewable and/or hydrocarbon-based energy, including knowledge of tax implications of wind, solar, and hydrocarbon-based energy exploration as well as expertise advising solar developers on environmental issues.
- Outstanding analytical, logical, and critical thinking abilities.
- Editing and presenting CLE experience; writing client notifications is a bonus.
- Outstanding research, writing, communication, and self-management abilities.
Additional Information:
- Start Date: Predicted to start after selection and interview of candidates
- Timeframe: six months, with the potential for an extension
Location: fully remote with available technologies
- Hours: 20 to 40 hours each week, Monday through Friday.
- Hourly Pay: $38.
