The design and execution of Omni’s core infrastructure and backend components fall under the purview of a founding blockchain engineer, who also works with the rest of the technical team to enhance our overall architecture and code quality.
Blockchain engineers concentrate on node software and infrastructure, whereas full stack developers are concerned with smart contract and application development. Since our team is small and flat, there will be opportunities to contribute throughout the stack, therefore these are not rigid restrictions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop our core software stack from the design phase all the way to implementations that are ready for production. mainly using golang.
- Create, create, manage, test, and enhance our coordinating agents and node software to power our distributed networks.
- To reduce build and test times, implement and perfect CI/CD. For microservices, identify and enhance stability and performance.
- By providing meaningful, effectively articulated criticism, peers can improve their architectural designs.
- Create efficient SDKs and instructions that let users interact with the Web3 APIs.
- Participate in open source initiatives and the development of the overall crypto ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Three to seven years of experience working in backend software engineering are necessary.
- Significant systems programming experience in Go (recommended), Rust, or C++
- having knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Considerable expertise in leading the software development life cycle for medium-sized to big projects
- Working knowledge of creating SDKs, APIs, or other large-scale production systems
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or other similar cloud service providers
- To continuously improve our tech stack as we develop new systems and services, including by adhering to contemporary best practices in software development and cryptography.
