Responsibilities:

You will handle discoveries as a TPM on the team by defining the issue, identifying owners, communicating with security engineers to create remediation plans, working with internal and external teams to remediate findings globally, and validating remedies. By using visual analytics tools like Tableau and Asana to communicate project progress, you will put your effective communication skills to use. You will also use Python or another similar scripting language to automate analytics. You will write and modify important documents to convey problems, escalate findings, and protect resources. You will work independently and lead intricate business and technical discussions up to the VP level with clarity and conciseness. You will collaborate with groups across Amazon to strategically enhance wireless security, respond to inquiries from outside sources, and apply security best practices. Large-scale security projects will have your backing, and you’ll effectively escalate as necessary. Within SPEAR, you will grow and mentor other TPMs.

About the group

The SPEAR Wireless Security team of Amazon performs wireless vulnerability analyses of its infrastructure, products, and services. We are a part of a bigger assessment team that locates weaknesses in several security areas. We are a multinational security team whose members are dispersed throughout numerous nations. We are constantly on the lookout for previously unidentified security issues because the protection of our customers’ data is something we take very seriously.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience in technical product or program management
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with technical teams
  • 2+ years of experience working in the wireless technologies industry

FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of expertise managing projects across all project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
    an undergraduate degree in management
  • 2+ years of experience with Tableau and Asana for visual analytics
  • Python or a comparable scripting language experience of at least two years Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • current CISSP certification (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
