Position Description:

You must be able to anticipate our users’ needs, advocate for them, and ensure that the final product exceeds their expectations in order to be successful in this position. You will be a member of a cross-functional team and responsible for key aspects of the product development process, including user research, prototyping, and ongoing optimization efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and assess user requirements alongside product managers and engineers.
  • Work with your team to create and improve user personas
  • Create user flows to depict each user’s interaction with the product.
  • Optimize the delivery of understandable, useful information to our users.
  • Create user interactions that are efficient and simple.
  • Utilize existing user interface frameworks as needed to prioritize the user experience.
  • Create flowcharts, wireframes, and visual prototypes to communicate how the application should function and appear.
  • Identify and resolve UX problems
  • Utilize A/B testing and user feedback to continuously improve our products.
  • Develop, preserve, and iterate design systems.

Your skills and experience include:

  • Two years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a comparable role.
  • Automotive knowledge is desired.
  • Excellent portfolio of available projects demonstrating your UI and UX design skills.
  • HMI (human machine interface) practical knowledge
  • Experience with multidisciplinary teams
  • A familiarity with wireframe tools and collaboration software (e.g. Balsamiq, Miro).
  • Current understanding of prototyping software (e.g. Adobe XD, Figma)
  • Capacity to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills for working with team members and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline
