Position Description:

As UI/UX Design Lead, you will assist in mentoring and directing our UI/UX team. You will direct the team in the creation of user-friendly interfaces that provide users with a seamless gaming experience. You will be a champion for the player’s requirements throughout the development of Hytale by planning and providing accessible, enjoyable experiences.

Among your duties:

• Manage the UI/UX team, which consists of UI artists and UX designers, and advocate for UI/UX throughout the firm.
• Supervise the development of UX and UI deliverables from concept to launch and beyond, while collaborating closely with feature stakeholders.
• Establish and express the UX and UI design concept via deliverables that illustrate the player journey, such as design systems, prototypes, and user flows.
• Drive UX and UI best practices and pipeline enhancements to support the common vision in collaboration with art, game design, and other discipline leaders.
• Lead our accessibility initiatives and promote accessible design throughout the studio.

Essential Traits:

• Five or more years of experience as a user experience designer, information architect, or in a comparable UX-related function.
• Experience coordinating and managing a team and offering UX designers and UI artists with mentorship and professional development.
• Outstanding communication and planning skills, as well as the capacity to act independently
• Expertise in industry-standard tools, procedures, and technical facets of UI implementation. An exceptional portfolio showcasing your UX design savvy.
