Responsibilities:
As a Claims Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive testing procedures for system improvements and new products and processes across various facets of customer service, including claims, enrollment, provider contracts, and benefits administration.
- You will create and execute unit testing processes to ensure the quality of vendor contracts before implementation.
- Assist in testing simple system enhancements.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive test plan and test scripts to guarantee the quality of vendor contracts, maintaining quality and precision.
- Confirm that the system operates in accordance with user requirements and established guidelines.
- Adhere to standardized best practices for documenting and implementing test plans, ranging from simple to moderately complex.
- Validate test results, document discrepancies, and oversee resolutions to address all issues.
- Report progress on problem resolution to management.
- Communicate test results to end-users for their approval.
- Act as an intermediary between system end-users and the IT team.
- Perform other duties as required.
This position is part of the Service Operations department.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in claims processing or managed care operations within a service center.
- Recent and related experience in system processing, payment, and benefits, with a preference for familiarity with IDX managed care.
- Broad knowledge of medical terminology, claims, customary and reasonable cost containment, coordination of benefits, diagnosis coding, and general customer service sources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with QNXT managed care.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
