Responsibilities:

A systems engineer is needed by Apple’s Platform Architecture group to create high-performance functional models of cutting-edge SoC designs and assist in bridging the software and hardware divide. This individual will have a direct impact on Apple products’ performance enhancements, power efficiency, security, and ease of programming.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience and BS.
• Background with operating systems, compilers, or low-level software.
• Excellent C++/C programming and Python scripting skills. Experience with assembly a bonus.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting sophisticated, large-scale system software.
• An advantage would be knowledge of kernel, driver, and firmware development.
• Simulator and modeling knowledge is a plus.
• Architecture knowledge for ARM and/or X86 is a bonus.

Knowledge & Experience

• 3+ years of experience and a BS. Preferably with a degree in computer science or computer engineering.
