Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and evaluate the release notes for the CVS RxConnect and Retail applications for Build and Deployment-specific changes.
  • To guarantee that existing build and deployment logic doesn’t break with the new workflows, perform an impact analysis on the change requests.
  • Providing solutions for RxConnect requirements to address the build and deployment aspects by working with architects and development teams.
  • Working with the BMES team to make sure the deployment logic and PT/PROD build properties are met by the RxConnect token externalization logic.
  • Provide the BMES Team solutions for a dependable pipeline configuration that operates in all Rxconnect situations.
  • Version control and configuration management are handled by incorporating, implementing, and committing the changes to the appropriate branches in SVN and GIT repositories.
  • For RxConnect builds and deploys, create, develop, and maintain fully automated Jenkins, GIT Lab, and PMEase QuickBuild pipelines.
  • Created and maintained Jenkins / CICD pipelines for build/deployments and configured, built, and maintained PCC, Entity, and TechX apps in the Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
  • Create build/deployment scripts for applications running on WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, and DataPower.
  • Maintaining Kubernetes for RxBE and PCC, among other applications.
  • Assess the CICD tools’ vulnerabilities and put the appropriate repair measures in place.
  • To uphold Rxconnect security regulations, SSL certificates must be created and renewed.
  • To assure token externalization, create routines to verify token values on WebLogic, Tomcat, JBOSS, and IBM DataPower appliances.
  • The various RxConnect Central & release components’ build and deployment difficulties.
  • Automate build/deployment processes and workflows, and Create dashboard objects and publish them.
  • Collaborate with the PROD support team to schedule client rollouts and to force install rpms in accordance with the needs of the client.
  • Attend meetings for the RxConnect Issue Triage and Production Deployment Checklist.
  • RxConnect is supported in a variety of test (PT1, PT2, and POC) and production (RI/AZ) settings.
  • Supports both daytime and nighttime production deployments of RxConnect core and non-core apps (24×7).
  • Organize and manage RxConnect activities and operations to ensure effectiveness and adherence to corporate guidelines.

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows: 43.27 minimum; 86.54 maximum

Requirements:

Required credentials

  • With GitHub, GitLab, Subversion, Jenkins, QuickBuild, Nexus, and Sonarqube, you have at least six years of DevOps experience.
  • Scripting experience with Perl, Python, and PowerShell dating back at least six years.

Recommended Requirements

  • GitHub, GitLab, Subversion, Jenkins, QuickBuild, Nexus, and Sonarqube DevOps experience.
  • UNIX scripting, Perl, Python, and PowerShell knowledge.

Education

  • Preferred is a bachelor’s degree
  • HS diploma and significant work experience are necessary.
