Responsibilities:

• Create, construct, and manage a large-scale, universal payment system. Make sure the system can change to meet the demands of various Reddit monetization products as they arise.
• Oversee the long-term technological plan while weighing urgent priorities against complicated, unclear requirements.
• Promote technical excellence to guarantee the security, scalability, compliance, and dependability of the system.
• expertly manage and negotiate requirements, ensuring that solutions satisfy the various needs of the business and that all stakeholders are in agreement.

Requirements:

• More than seven years of expertise developing backend applications utilizing various backend components, including networking, databases, and effective computing. We use AWS Docker/k8s for deployment and use Go, Python, Postgres, Redis, Thrift, and GraphQL for development.
• The capacity to plan and implement intricate distributed systems that are heavily loaded.
• expertise in technical leadership for payment processing systems. knowledge of international payment systems, including their security, legal, and compliance needs.
• in creating backend infrastructure initiatives for several teams.
