Position Description:

As a Software Engineer in the Privacy Engineering team, you will support and expand the fundamental technologies that safeguard customer and patient data privacy across a variety of HealthVerity products and services. You will enhance the fundamental algorithms underlying our technology for patient de-identification and linkage. You will collaborate with important stakeholders to comprehend and carry out the specifications for developing user interfaces for our clients. You will contribute to the improvement of a safe multiparty computing system that connects millions of rows of consumer and healthcare data.

What you plan to do

• Work with key stakeholders to clarify requirements and remove ambiguity. Design, discuss, implement, and ship features extending Python-based services deployed to AWS. Collaborate with engineers on other teams to drive technology decision-making throughout the organization. Ensure the highest engineering standards for architecture, implementation, and testing.

The following technologies are used by the privacy team in our ongoing development process:

• AWS Lambda, AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS Aurora, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Elasticache, ZeroMQ, Python, Cython, React JS, TypeScript, Java, Go,

• You are a good communicator that excels in a team atmosphere and is current on best practices and standards related to Python and AWS products. You are also passionate about providing high-quality solutions. a front end developer with experience in cloud native technologies

Desired abilities and knowledge

• 2+ years of Python expertise • 2+ years of AWS (Lambda, S3, Aurora) experience • 2+ years of javascript or current frameworks (React JS recommended) experience • Experience with microservice architecture patterns • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment technologies
