Position Description:

In this newly developed post, we are looking for a highly talented and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). The ideal applicant will have extensive testing experience with JavaScript and React web applications. This person will collaborate closely with developers and business partners to guarantee that our eCommerce products are of the highest quality. This is a hands-on technical position responsible for providing exceptional client experiences through the use of open-source technologies and head-less architecture!

A typical day in the life of a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is as follows:

• Create, create, and maintain a test automation suite, framework, and tools.
• Lead end-to-end and UAT testing cycles Collaborate with mobile app developers and business partners to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
• Participate in the design of solutions and architectural discussions.
• To ensure product delivery success, communicate effectively with engineering team members and business partners.
• Improve existing automation suites using industry best practices.
• Offer a dependable method for other engineers to create automated tests and obtain dependable results.
• Key point of contact for triaging, prioritizing, and resolving automation errors.
• Gather automated failure metrics, investigate the root cause, and offer corrective actions.

What you’ll be bringing:

• 3+ years of experience composing automated tests in a JavaScript/React environment Experience leading multi-team test cycles Experience applying standard DevOps procedures and technologies, CI/CD
• Good communication and teamwork abilities are required, as is experience working in an eCommerce context.
• Excellent background in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Good expertise writing automated unit, integration, API, and user interface tests Experience evaluating and optimizing test suite reliability Great problem-solving abilities Experience analyzing and recommending remedial steps for automation failures
