Position Description:

You will support us in developing scalable and dependable services to serve our expanding business as a Backend Software Engineer. In this position, you will collaborate with people from many departments to iteratively provide value to our clients. Every one of our product delivery teams is in charge of delivering a crucial component of our roadmap as well as continuously maintaining and enhancing a certain component of our product.

You must be a team player and enjoy working collaboratively if you want to succeed in this position. Additionally, you like incorporating the business objectives into your approach to development and are aware of how your code will affect the business. You love collaborating with product management to identify the best solution to the issue at hand, and you have the ability to strike a balance between technical tradeoffs and providing customer value rapidly and iteratively.

It Will

• Work with a feature-driven, cross-functional development team.
• Participate in talks about technological design and influence technical decisions.
• Update the League platform with additional functions and essential features.
• uphold quality standards through code reviews, issue fixes, automated testing, and performance monitoring
• Show ownership, pragmatism, cooperation, and empathy for our consumers as part of our team.

What You Do:

• You’ve worked in backend development for at least 4 years.
• You take pleasure in giving customers value.
• You have knowledge of creating fault-tolerant, scalable web services.
• You are skilled in creating testable, high-quality code, and you are aware of the compromises between speed and maintainability.
• You are aware of how the web functions and what a decent API should look like.
• You want to help fix things when they break and are capable of doing so.
