Position Description:

As a Software Principal Engineer, your role is to develop sophisticated systems and software solutions aligned with customer business goals and needs. You will contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments. Additionally, you will prepare, review, and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems, as well as participate in the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software and storage products/systems. Hands-on experience with infrastructure development on distributed systems is a crucial part of this role.

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years of development experience in software with a bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong coding experience with Go and Python on Linux.
• Component/system level design skills, including the ability to work with architects to complete design proposals.
• Experience working with Kubernetes or other container technology is a plus.
