Responsibilities:

An experienced senior frontend developer who thrives in a dispersed team setting is needed by MyAccredoPatients.com (MAP). The ideal applicant is knowledgeable about the difficulties and complexities involved in creating scalable and reliable web applications, is capable of working at the highest technical level throughout all phases of development, and will support the continued development of the frontend architecture of our web portal.

The ideal applicant will be these on a daily basis:

  • Personally accountable for working with product owners to achieve their objectives, from creating all mockups through developing, testing, and releasing in our production environment.
  • Partners with, mentors, and supports a group of offshore developers and testers as they complete new feature requests.
  • RESTful interfaces that satisfy the requirements of the new features can be proposed and agreed upon through comfortable and productive collaboration with backend teams.
  • Guarantee the continuing functionality of our portal 365 days per year.

In terms of strategy, the ideal applicant will be:

  • Responsible for determining the technological direction of the frontend architecture of our web portal
  • Collaborating with the owners of the business and technical products to suggest the best course of action for new features and capabilities (e.g., The hierarchy of features and capabilities, MVPs, release dates, etc.).
  • If the chosen individual performs as expected, we will consider them an investment and convert them to employee status.

Requirements:

  • Strong UI/UX design abilities. You will spend about a third of your time working with our business partners to comprehend their ideas for new functionality. You’ll need to be able to articulate that vision using mockups (created in Sketch or Figma), which the rest of the development team will use as a basis for further elaboration, improvement, grooming, etc.
  • Strong familiarity with web application architectures. strong knowledge of REST, web development, and software architecture.
  • Excellent front-end development abilities. You’ll spend the majority of your time on implementation. The toolkit of our frontend team includes things like javascript, react, and redux.
  • Using the cloud. Our team is switching from Pivotal Cloud Foundry to Amazon Web Services (AWS) (PCF). For CI/CD, our team mainly relies on Jenkins.
  • Ownership and accountability at every step in the software development process, such as concept development, architecture, design, implementation, peer reviews, quality assurance, and deployment
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the capacity to work well with a variety of groups and the ability to solve problems and make decisions, influence others, manage change, and communicate in both written and oral form.
  • The capacity to successfully interact with other teams within a business ecosystem to integrate new features

Desired abilities

  • 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject, 5 years of related experience and a Master’s degree in a related field, or
  • 11 years of relevant experience without a Bachelor’s degree
  • Working familiarity with the ideas of scrum and agile development
  • Healthcare industry knowledge
  • The capacity to thoughtfully share and receive feedback from all stakeholders in order to guarantee that the team continues to grow
  • Ability to learn new skills and technologies as necessary, act independently, etc.; ability to succeed in a dynamic work environment.

We anticipate paying between 121,900 and 203,100 USD a year for this employment, depending on relevant factors like experience and location.
