Position Description

This is a full-time, experienced-level Social Media Generalist role that requires undergraduate education or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations. You’ll be working with Tripwire Interactive, an independent video game developer, and publisher that’s looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team. You’ll be working with a collaborative team and taking risks to push the boundaries of their medium.

Responsibilities

As the Social Media Generalist, you’ll be working with the Marketing and Community teams on social media content planning, scheduling, and reporting for Tripwire’s brand voices. You’ll be responsible for developing engaging organic social media content and campaigns on all of Tripwire’s accounts on various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more. You’ll be required to stay updated with trends and audience behavior to plan and execute relevant customer service issues and live stream events.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess demonstrable proficiency with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and more. You must have strong interpersonal and written communication skills and maintain an eye for developing ideas big or small. You must have a basic understanding of the broad social trends in the video game industry, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary:

The Social Media Generalist will qualify for corporate profit sharing and will range from $40,000-$50,000 annually, depending on experience.
