This is entirely on-site in Lathrop Village, Michigan.

You will be required to provide five-star service while developing relationships with our members as a Member Service Center. Our first priority is to give our members the impression that they can call us for anything, at any time, and that they may hang up the phone with confidence and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer between 80 and 100 calls per day on average by responding to questions from members, resolving issues, and offering
  • A new product announcement.
  • Respond to members’ phone calls in a timely and suitable manner.
  • Respond to questions about banking products, such as checking, savings, loans, and credit lines.
  • Completely and promptly record all client inquiries and feedback.
  • Maintain positive business relationships with members by politely and quickly addressing their concerns or inquiries, and
  • Efficiently resolving a member account issue
  • Identify the needs of members’ financial services and suggest services and products to meet those needs.
  • Gather loan repayments from members.
  • Many accounting transactions to manage.
  • Give credit union members excellent service. No slack here!
  • Serve as the voice (and face!) of our brand. We are people who are joyful, self-assured, and optimistic.
  • Offer remedies. We want people who are excellent interviewers, critical thinkers, and listeners. Whether it’s an issue with online banking, account information, or just a general question, you’ll need to be able to identify a member’s problem and walk them through the solution. Even some loan applications might be taken!

Qualifications

  • Personable, outgoing candidates. To work here, you must genuinely love people.

  • Experience in retail or customer service previously.
  • Experience working in a call center or financial institution is a bonus.
  • Excellent computing capabilities. You’ll need to be able to type rapidly, do searches, and complete transactions while giving our members a pleasant voice and a high-quality experience. The best is due to them!

Education. You’ll need to be able to swiftly and thoroughly learn about our procedures, goods, and services. After all, that is why we are here! A high school diploma or GED is required. A business or similar field associate’s degree is a plus!
