For one of our clients in Charlotte, North Carolina, Robert Half Marketing & Creative is seeking a Freelance Copywriter with a solid history in SEO. As a copywriter, you will be essential in creating interesting, pertinent, and SEO-optimized material that appeals to our target audience while following industry best practices.
This remote job has a commitment requirement of 10 to 20 hours per week, giving you freedom to juggle other obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Create excellent, unique, and engrossing written material for a range of channels, such as blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and website pages.
- Identify target keywords and themes that match our business objectives and the interests of our audience by conducting in-depth keyword research.
- Integrate goal keywords into content naturally while retaining readability and natural language.
- Develop content strategy in conjunction with the marketing team to support overall SEO goals and boost organic traffic.
- To guarantee correctness, consistency, and consistent brand messaging, edit and proofread the text.
- To continually improve content strategy, be abreast of market developments, SEO best practices, and algorithm upgrades.
- Utilizing SEO tools and platforms, track and evaluate the success of content, making data-driven changes to raise rankings and engagement.
Requirements:
- Possess a good portfolio displaying a range of writing styles and tones, as well as shown expertise as a copywriter.
- A working knowledge of SEO practices, such as keyword research, on-page optimization, and content organization for SEO.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Basic HTML knowledge and experience with content management systems (CMS) are advantages.
- The capacity to work autonomously, adhere to deadlines, and successfully manage time.
- Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work remotely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of the most recent SEO trends, algorithms, and ranking criteria.
- Proactive problem-solving methods and a readiness to move with the times as the digital landscape.
