Position Description:

At Pluralsight, the SEO Content Strategist will be part of a team of seasoned digital marketing experts that have collaborated to build a world-class digital marketing engine. While this person will be aiding our Digital Experience team, Content teams, Brand Marketing teams, Product teams, and others, cross-channel functionality and understanding is preferred. The ideal candidate will be eager to experiment, grow, and succeed.

Who you want to be:

• An developing content-focused SEO who is eager to learn and grow in the optimization area.
• Good communication abilities are required, as are presenting skills.
• Superior writing abilities. Technical writing experience is a great plus!
• Self-starter capable of juggling many projects
• Flexibility to work in an ever-changing remote setting Self-directed mentality capable of prioritizing many activities and tasks required
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is necessary.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush is preferred.

What you’ll have:

• Content development and keyword research by vertical and persona
• Conduct content refreshes on current material to bring out-of-date blog posts.
• Project management involving internal and external teams, with a focus on coordination and execution.
• Coordination with content teams to create new content opportunities.

You’ll need the following experience:

• It is preferable to have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or English.
• Clear communicator with excellent executive-facing writing and verbal communication skills
• Great desire to learn new aspects of SEO, new software, and new methods.
