A Senior Network Engineer is needed by our customer for the Network Operations team. In collaboration with the other team members, this team is in charge of maintaining the corporate network’s functionality. Network design, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, responding to new requests, deploying standard systems & configurations, and being on call are among the duties. The candidate must also show that they have outstanding communication skills when working with other Infrastructure Services teams and the company, including the ability to explain technical solutions to management that is not technically minded. rotate being on call with the other members of the operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the construction of intricate networks and taking on the role of technical director for several ongoing network projects
- Showcase your knowledge of network design and data centers.
- Direct the development of enhanced network connectivity strategically and tactically.
- Act as a point of contact for technical assistance and diagnosis in resolving complicated network issues
- Extensive practical skills and in-depth understanding of LAN, Wireless, and SD-WAN networks
- Extensive knowledge of data center networking with expertise in Cisco Nexus, Cisco UCS, and VMware in a virtualized environment
- Organize, educate, and supervise other network engineers
- Through superior operational performance and preventative maintenance, guarantee network performance.
- Fix network issues, plan upgrades, and carry out root cause analysis, network analysis, and network optimization
Requirements:
Skills:
- Tools for network control and surveillance (i.e., Riverbed)
- Switches from Cisco Nexus and Catalyst
- ISR and ASR routers from Cisco
- Wireless Access Points and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers
- Engine for Cisco Identity Services (ISE)
- Routers Cradlepoint LTE
- technical expertise with the following technologies, specifically:
- BGP, OSPF, and HSRP routing
- Rapid-PVST+, VPC QoS and CoS IPSec, DMVPN, SD-WAN, and SD-Access technologies for switching VLANs
- IPAM, DNS, and DHCP
- Excellent packet capture and traffic analysis skills
Education: A four-year degree is preferred.
Certifications: Preferably, one or more globally recognized credentials, such as the Cisco CCNP R/S or Enterprise
