A Senior Market Research Manager is being sought by our marketing department. This person will be in charge of producing insights that will enable our team to better understand and serve our consumers. A thorough understanding of the planning, designing, and carrying out of qualitative and quantitative research is essential for the position. The Sr. Study Manager will also need to be knowledgeable about the most recent methods for research design and be able to convert research findings into suggestions that can be put into practice.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the problem-solving, supply of research materials, and reporting of findings phases of all qualitative and quantitative research projects.
• Management of research agencies, including the capacity to draft persuasive research briefs for outside research collaborators to ensure that research yields desired insight findings.
• To obtain information, conduct both primary and secondary research.
• The development of compelling insights through the analysis of data from interviews, focus groups, surveys, or other qualitative or quantitative research.
• Write executive-level reports and offer suggestions to the leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain connections with and subscriptions from third-party research companies.
• Establish connections with a variety of cross-functional Amazon business partners to learn about their needs and objectives, create a research roadmap, and inspire action through the dissemination of insights.

Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
• A baccalaureate degree (preferably in Market Research, Economics, or Statistics).
• 7+ years of professional experience in industries like consulting, market research, or customer insights
• Survey-development expertise with examples of previous work that can be verified.
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven track record conducting B2B market research for tech or e-commerce companies.
The pay range for this job in Jersey City is $125,400-169,600/year; however, the base salary provided may change depending on the candidate’s experience, education, and job-related abilities. Depending on the position being offered, the pay package may include a sign-on bonus and restricted stock units in addition to a comprehensive array of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The Pay Transparency Regulation of the Jersey City Municipal Code requires the provision of this information. Market location determines base wage information. In Colorado, the salary range for this career is $125,400-169,600/year; however, the basic pay offered may vary depending on the knowledge, skills, and experience associated to the role. Depending on the position being offered, the pay package may include a sign-on bonus and restricted stock units in addition to a comprehensive array of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The Colorado Equal Pay Act requires the provision of this information. Market location determines base wage information.
