Position Description:

The Senior Manager/Manager, Deposit Pricing Analytics will be an important member of the team in charge of controlling interest rates on the Consumer Banking Group’s checking, savings, and CD products. This function integrates customer and portfolio data, competitive insights, and macroeconomic and monetary policy trends to guide pricing strategies, as well as supporting inputs to the deposit product roadmap. The Senior Manager will also carry out pricing decisions and verify compliance with our pricing governance strategy.

Among the key responsibilities are:

• Evaluate client balance movements, behaviors, and portfolio segmentation to make interest rate recommendations, and deliver critical findings to senior management.
• Lead data-driven analytical efforts to discover pricing elasticity insights.
• Make pricing modifications with the goal of achieving Operational Excellence in mind.
• Organize, prepare, and deliver materials for the periodic Deposit Pricing Forum to examine portfolio, competitive, and macroeconomic trends.
• Continuously identify and monitor relevant competitive peer set across products.
• Research promotional campaign activities and macroeconomic trends, and gather market pricing and benchmarking data from vendor partnerships and external channels.
• As needed, do ad hoc analysis.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in quantitative areas such as pricing, product/market research, or financial analysis
• Good presentation abilities and the ability to transform data into insights that drive recommendations. Skilled with data processing and statistical analysis utilizing technologies such as SQL.
• Microsoft Excel data visualization expert
• Good financial knowledge, attention to detail, and analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities are required.
• In Banking and Financial Services, intellectual curiosity fosters an external perspective.
• Excellent interpersonal and cooperation abilities, as well as the ability to collaborate with partners from other functions
• Good attitude, initiative, and the ability to operate with a start-up mentality in a fast-paced atmosphere are required.
