Responsibilities:
Through fast innovation and change, the Medical Affairs team at CVS Health is on a mission to improve health and healthcare for the people we serve and provide maximum value to our customers and partners. In collaboration with senior executive leaders, internal stakeholders across the business, and important external customers and partners, this position within the Central Program Office of Aetna Medical Affairs will assist create, lead, and champion strategic initiatives. Initiatives could include things like operational change, innovative technology and analytics applications, new market prospects, improved customer success, and more. The management of several cross-functional stakeholders and substantial exposure to senior leadership are important aspects of this position. Strong experience in complex program management, business or healthcare consulting, strategic planning, and process improvement are required, as well as the ability to work independently, form partnerships, communicate clearly, achieve alignment and consensus, create detailed execution plans, and meet challenging deadlines in a fluid environment. Additionally, it calls for exceptional organizational, program/project management, planning, and consulting skills as well as a track record of leading and influencing teams both with and without authority. It also calls for openness to a variety of and frequently ambiguous aims.
Pay Scale
The usual pay scale for this position is as follows:
- Lowest: 75,400
- Up to: 162,700
Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.
Requirements:
Required credentials
- Experience in program management, business planning, consulting, and/or process improvement spanning at least 8 years
- Experience leading challenging, extensive, cross-functional projects for at least five years
- A minimum of three years’ experience working with executives
Recommended Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in retail health or health plans
Education
- Bachelor’s necessary, but recommended
