Through its subsidiary Accredo, the Senior Manager of Software Engineering will provide integrated pharmacy benefit management services such as network pharmacy claims processing, home delivery pharmacy services, and specialty pharmacy benefit management. For health plans, self-insured companies, and government organizations managing drug plans, services are available that include benefit design counseling, drug utilization review, formulary administration, and medical and medication data analysis. This specific team works on Pega BPM apps for prior authorization that assist customer service centers in carrying out drug authorization evaluations requested by doctors. An engineering senior manager will guide their team in designing, developing, testing, and delivering expansive software systems, platforms, services, or technologies in the Provider domain. This person will have the chance to collaborate directly with partner IT and business teams as a senior leader within the company, owning and driving large deliverables across all facets of software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Being familiar with SDLC procedures, particularly agile techniques (Scrum & Kanban).
- Control the performance and output of direct reports. Mentor and coach employees as they progress professionally, and establish and uphold best practices. Identify knowledge gaps (technical or business-related) that impede team effectiveness proactively and create training plans for them.
- Should prioritize automation and continuous improvement, promote the use of CI/CD tools, and encourage the development of new tools and procedures.
- Actively take part in our Agile Release Train’s system design, interface design, technological assumption validation, and option discovery (ARTs).
- Complete accountability for ART goods (DevOps, Automation, Security Vulnerabilities, Production Incidents, Quality)
- A thought leader who uses data to fuel a company based on metrics.
- Responsible for making all hiring decisions for the teams they oversee.
- Participate actively in L2 and L3 support, as well as issue management for production support. Review and keep track of any incidents that business teams report.
- Clearly articulating operating mechanics, architecture health measurements and targets, incident and reporting throughput metrics and targets will help to ensure the effective operation of the responsible teams.

Qualifications
- Computer science bachelor’s or master’s degree, or comparable job experience, is required.
- AES, Java, Python, OCR, PostgreSQL, Oracle,.NET, HTML, CSS, XML, Android, IOS, React Native, Flutter, MS Office Data Analytics, Object-Oriented Design, Wireframing, Architecture, Automation, Scaling, Data Modeling, Security Modeling, Machine Learning, Reporting, and Tro experience in designing, developing, and supporting technology decisions within various technologies is required.
- Proficiency with the SAFe framework and Agile delivery
- The ability to show judgment in the following crucial areas:
