Responsibilities:

• Investigates aircraft/component issues that could result in delays or cancellations of flights, significant outlays of labor or materials, or interruptions of maintenance operations, and decides on the necessary corrective measures.
• In order to resolve erroneous circumstances affecting aircraft or components and return them to a usable state, engineering help is provided as needed.
• Collaborates with Maintenance and other airline divisions when supporting initiatives or solving issues requires technical analysis or assistance.
• When necessary, coordinates with other airline departments to ensure that engineering dispositions are implemented effectively and efficiently.
• Prepares engineering paperwork in support of repair, modification, inspection, or other maintenance activities that are beneficial in accordance with airline/departmental goals and management directions.
• Maintains awareness of ongoing and upcoming regulations that have an impact on the areas of responsibility, and makes sure that all engineering efforts continue to be in conformity with those rules.
• Demonstrates critical thinking leadership for contrasting situations influencing aircraft or components
• Large-scale and intricate data sets for data mining
• In huge and intricately examined data sets, look for patterns and trends.
• Collects, analyzes, and applies complicated data to produce actionable steps that will boost productivity and maximize outcomes.
• Acts as a coordinator during the problem-solving or project management process.
• Keeps up with all aspects of daily airline operations that pertain to their area of duty. evaluates each day’s priorities in light of airline/departmental goals and management directives
• Uses resources readily accessible to continuously raise technical proficiency and practical experience levels. Additionally works to enhance communication abilities, time management, and other personal traits necessary for accomplishing tasks with the utmost efficacy and efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent license in engineering
• 6 years of related engineering experience or 10 years of experience without a degree

Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.

• Engineering Master’s Degree
• Practical experience with technologies for data analysis and visualization, such as Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau
• Practical knowledge of database and spreadsheet programs like SQL and Excel
• Project Administration

Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other programs.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to gather, arrange, organize, and communicate a substantial amount of information with accuracy and attention to detail
• The capacity to evaluate technical data and make judgments based on that data
