Responsibilities:
- Creates, creates, runs, and maintains automated test scripts across many platforms, services, and applications that are already in use.
performs the installation, upgrade, testing, and administration of the testing team’s tools - Ensures that a product set’s automation standards are up to date, including the upkeep and development of the master automated regression test set.
- Creates strategies, protocols, and programs to keep track of, assess, and maintain the system’s accuracy, dependability, and performance.
- Communicates testing status actively, mentioning the timeline, risks, problems, flaws, and potential effects.
- Work together to understand requirements and test applications that adhere to business requirements with executives, analysts, IT architects, technical leads, developers, and other QA engineers, as well as internal customers.
- To enhance application performance and security posture, familiarize yourself with new technologies and put them to use.
- Test and automate testing of current platforms, services, and applications.
- Follow security rules and best practices
- Make sure decisions are in line with long-term enterprise and industry growth expectations by working closely with technical leaders.
- Investigate complicated problems and put fixes in place
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and independently in order to contribute to new task requirements and estimates.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, information systems (CIS/MIS), computer science, or a closely related technical field, or comparable experience or training
- 3 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience building, testing, and automating large-scale systems in hosted production settings with product ownership and software engineers.
- Knowledge of agile approaches, such as Scrum
- Knowledge of additional tools: Git, Azure DevOps
Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.
- Knowledge of the airline industry, particularly corporate procedures and technology
- .NET stack, object-oriented design concepts, and RESTful API development
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining repositories for open-source projects
- Understanding of how to communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences and to modify messages accordingly
- Proficiency with Playwright and C# for automated testing
Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications
- Understanding of quality management demonstrated, including methods, tools, processes, and metrics for testing
- Using UFT, SOAPUI, and JMETER, among other automation approaches and technologies,
- Capable of using Microsoft Office tools
- Strong follow-up, time management, and organizational skills; sound judgment and analytical abilities
- Good adaptability to a quickly changing environment
- The capacity to effectively manage change and client expectations while managing numerous projects at once
- Passion, selflessness, and accountability to the team and to oneself; capacity to operate well both individually and in a collaborative team context
- Knowledge of Azure cloud, containers, and cloud-native development, deployment, and orchestration
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps procedures
