What you intend to do
- Collaborates with executives, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers, as well as internal customers, to understand and develop demands based on business requirements.
- Using domain-driven design and test-driven development, maintains and improves existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms.
- Complex issues are troubleshooted and debugged; solutions are identified and implemented.
- Detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates are created.
- Investigates and deploys new technologies in order to improve current procedures, security, and performance.
- Supports the establishment of coding standards and conforms to best practices and security guidelines
- Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure that decisions suit the long-term objectives of the company.
Everything you’ll need to succeed
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, technology, information systems (CIS/MIS), engineering, or a similar technical subject is required, or comparable experience/training.
- 3 years of full SDLC expertise designing, developing, and deploying large-scale applications in hosted production environments
- Professional, design, and open-source expertise spanning three years
Education and prior job experience are preferred qualifications.
- A master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, technology, information systems (CIS/MIS), engineering, or a similar technical subject is required, or comparable experience/training.
- 5 years of experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Airline Industry experience
