Responsibilities:
- Using cutting-edge analytical methods to provide business-relevant answers to customer-centric queries
- Collaborating with other teams to obtain relevant data from a variety of sources so you may use cutting-edge statistical techniques to improve how well our business performs
- Getting organized and unstructured data from many sources, modifying it, cleaning it up, and evaluating it
- Performing exploratory analysis, which includes statistical inference, statistical analysis (predictive or prescriptive), and hypothesis testing
- Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to transform complex issues in the retail industry into cutting-edge data science solutions
- To create and implement client segmentations that are pertinent to our commercial strategy objectives, collaborate with other commercial teams and IT.
- To improve customer knowledge across the business, collaborate with other teams to integrate and centralize customer data for analytics. This data may include, but is not limited to, third-party data, digital activity, operational metrics, etc.
- Deploying prototypes or fully realized production implementations
- Contribute to the creation and assessment of customer-centric metrics that holistically encompass customer characteristics and behaviors and enable the firm to better appreciate customer value.
- Work together across departments and workgroups to add customer insights that will help you make smarter decisions.
- Choose the right analytical tools, then create code or queries to get results that will help you make decisions.
- Update key stakeholders, including senior leadership, on the results of the analysis of customer data that is focused on the business.
- Find and evaluate opportunities to work with outside vendors and use new technology to improve customer comprehension.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- A master’s or doctorate in mathematics, statistics, operations research, business analytics, computer science, engineering, or a related field, with two or more years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledgeable about AI-driven, data science, and machine learning methodologies
- Having knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, R, or Java
- Practical knowledge of data cleansing, extraction, and analysis
Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.
- Knowledge of SQL and Tableau for data visualization
- Experience in the airline, aviation, or transportation industries
- Knowledge of distributed computing and/or the cloud (e.g., Databricks, Spark, AWS)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Data Factory, storage accounts, and service principals
- Knowledge of correlation, grouping, segmentation, and regression in quantitative marketing
- Knowledge of KNN Neighbors, Random Forest, and XGboost
Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- The capacity to analyze client data utilizing complicated data sets
- Powerful organizational abilities and the capacity to juggle numerous projects at once
- Understanding of current marketing trends
