Position Description

Aptive Resources is seeking a professional candidate for the role of Senior Communication Products Specialist to support and execute efforts for a federal client. The successful candidate should have extensive experience working on communications for health informatics and health IT efforts. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting analysis of stakeholder feedback, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, drafting charters and communication plans, developing communications materials and more.

Responsibilities

– Develop and support program communications across a variety of platforms and ensure consistency of theme, message and desired outcomes.
– Participate in meetings, support appropriate documentation, agenda development and meeting management.
– Develop templates, reports, briefings, and other necessary communication materials.
– Analyze stakeholder feedback, existing resources, identify risks and build out recommendations.
– Develop and monitor project schedule, including critical phases and key milestones.
– Create communications materials such as newsletter articles, infographics and slide presentations.
– Develop recommendations and decision memoranda.

Qualifications

– Must have at least 8 years of communications, commercial consulting and/or project management experience.
– Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
– Must possess legal authorization to work in the US and obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
– Must have experience drafting charters, communication plans, operation plans, MOUs etc.
– Must have experience in implementing successful communications campaigns in an integrated health care setting.
– Must have experience providing expert advice related to strategic communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
– A candidate with demonstrated management and leadership skills and previous experience in supporting federal government clients is desirable.
– Must be able to get up to speed quickly on complex issues, work in a fast-paced environment and possess a high attention to detail.
– Must have excellent organizational skills,  outstanding oral and written communication skills and good time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. Should be able to work both independently and within the bounds of the team environment.
– Must be able to multi-task under tight deadlines.
