Position Description:

This position is part of the Technical Operations Division’s Reliability Engineering Team.
Responsible for assessing and monitoring various Reliability Program inputs to guarantee compliance with all specified requirements. Furthermore, this position evaluates and reviews program inputs to discover opportunities for improvement and operational reliability.

  • Locate and process Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs) to ensure that the company meets the FAA’s 96-hour submittal deadline.
  • Contribute to the Corrosion Prevention and Control Program and Major Repairs Evaluation and reporting on reliability
  • Help in the identification and entry of events into various Tech Operations databases.
  • Each month, complete an analysis of aircraft performance data to identify aircraft system trends.
  • To handle everyday work and task execution, interact with different computer programs or software.
  • As needed, assist with ad hoc analyses.

Everything you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience/training in a relevant field (may include A&P license or military service)
  • three years of relevant experience
  • Flight experience

Qualifications Preferred

  • Understanding of functional area and maintenance applications such as SAFE, APC, LMO, SCEPTRE, and others.
  • Capability to assemble/manage data from different sources into a holistic picture of a business situation
  • Candidates with demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas will be given preference:
  • Federal Regulations Code (CFRs)
  • Policies of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
  • Documentation from the original equipment manufacturer
  • Service Difficulties Reports for the Corrosion Prevention and Control Program
  • structural understanding of aircraft

Qualifications, Licenses, and Certifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as shown talent for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Ability to engage effectively with personnel at all levels of the company
  • Capability to efficiently manage numerous tasks at once
