This person is an expert in database and application development and will be answering to the Manager of Business Information Services Analytical Data Services. She or he is in charge of enterprise-wide analytical application prototype, design, development, and maintenance of databases and decision support systems. This person also has business expertise and applies it to programmatic constructions and developmental systems by way of plans, procedures, and subject-matter expertise. The incumbent plans, coordinates, and manages several project initiatives on their own. He or she uses information technology and a quick software development cycle to produce analytical, profiling, and reporting business solutions, maximizing the advantages gained from the company’s information assets while simultaneously assuring integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of medical claims, healthcare principles, and coding proficiency are prerequisites for this role.
- Develops or modifies moderately complex information systems under general supervision by formulating and defining the system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
- Creates thorough specifications that programmers can work from.
- These applications are designed, coded, tested, debugged, documented, and maintained.
- Competent to work on the majority of application development, systems analysis, and programming operations, but other phases need for training and direction.
- Independently uses ETL tools to build and/or program solutions for the business.
- Translates business needs into technical specifications and participates in the design of new database constructs or enhancements as a technical contributor.
- Performs independently and helps other team members with continuing system upkeep, investigation, problem-solving, and on-call support duties for existing systems.
- Completely understands and complies with the recommended methodologies, ensuring compliance for the work of all aligned resources.
- Performs unit testing, integration testing, and system testing in accordance with carefully thought-out test plans to guarantee high-quality systems.
- User Acceptance Testing assistance for business partners.
- Supports the integration of purchased solutions into production while operating with no guidance.
- All database objects, including SQL procedures/functions and SSIS packages, must adhere to code asset management.
- Encourages and supports asset reuse within the enterprise.
- Projects and/or service requests directly relevant to the ETL process may be led by or include the subject matter expert in some other capacity.
- Receives some direction and supervision in terms of setting priorities for the task, but is capable of working on their own.
Pay Scale
The usual pay scale for this position is as follows: 70,000 minimum; 140,000 maximum

Requirements:
Required credentials
- In a Microsoft workplace, a skilled database developer is required for SQL/SSIS development.
- Only TSQL and SSIS-based technologies are used. no development on the front end.
- The construction, maintenance, and optimization of sophisticated TSQL DDL and DML database objects and SSIS packages fall under this position’s purview.
- Developers take part in non-development activities such user training, data analysis, data modeling, and documentation.
- Developers assemble specifications for customized data solutions and cultivate dependable working connections with internal departments.
- The ideal applicant will take pleasure in building and developing data solutions in a highly collaborative team setting.
Preferred Requirements
- Desired experience in TSQL development (stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.) of at least 4 years
- It would be ideal if you have experience creating SSIS packages, including data flow tasks, transformations, precedence restrictions, expressions, etc.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of relational databases.
- An advantage would be having knowledge of data modeling or analysis.
- Helpful is business analyst experience.
Education: Candidates for this post should have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
