Responsibilities:
- Evaluates the effect of internal and external projects on revenue accounting
- To benefit from such programs, revenue accounting processes are improved and optimized.
- Outlines ideal procedures and wins support from business stakeholders
- Produces user stories that represent business needs after working with business teams to extract those needs.
- Ensures that the acceptance standards for stories are clearly specified.
- Ensures that user stories are conveyed to and understood by the team by working with developers and Agile product teams.
- Demonstrates to stakeholders that the user stories are accepted and that the acceptance criteria have been met.
- Updates the stakeholders on the status of the project throughout the project lifecycle.
- Helps the QA team understand the requirements of the project and makes that the test scripts they build cover all business scenarios
Requirements:
- Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a systems analyst or business analyst working with IT, or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a similar discipline
- Working knowledge of a multifunctional environment
Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.
- Practical knowledge of mainframe-based systems
- Preference for airline experience, particularly in the field of ticketing
