Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates closely with the governance committee, privacy team, commercial product teams, and IT partners to develop, implement, and track data collecting guidelines.
  • Creates and manages integrated data assets in collaboration with IT and subject matter experts.
  • aids in the discovery and repair of defects
  • Develops and employs scorecards and monitoring systems for data on health
  • Performs statistical testing on big datasets to verify quality and integrity, and with the help of subject matter experts, defines quality standards
  • Creates and delivers informational materials and training on how to use our data assets.
  • Collaborates with commercial teams to ensure that solutions are developed with the customer and their data in mind.
  • Maintains information, best practices, ownership, and lineage in collaboration with data stewards
  • Updates and monitors data access policies, performs audits, and suggests adjustments as necessary
  • Develops standards and best practices by participating in several Governance sub-committees.

Requirements:

Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.

  • Engineering, mathematics, computer science, information management, or a related field with a bachelor’s degree
  • Three years’ worth of expertise in data analysis, management, or stewardship
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of one or more data governance aspects

Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.

  • Five years of expertise in data management, analysis, or stewardship
  • Experience in the airline, travel, or hospitality industries
  • Knowledge with BI technologies like Tableau or PowerBI
  • Having knowledge of data quality programs like Informatica, Anomolo, or MonteCarlo
  • Knowledge of Informatica Axon, EDC, and Marketplace
  • Having knowledge of Identity Resolution, CDP, or Master Data Management programs
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, and Teradata

Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications

  • Outstanding analytical and sophisticated problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of data management topics such as identity resolution, master data management, modeling, quality, control frameworks, governance, and control frameworks.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Expertise in advanced SQL; Python is a plus
  • The capacity to analyze client data utilizing complicated data sets
  • Powerful organizational abilities
  • The capacity to balance several initiatives at once
  • An inquisitive, unconventional thinker who is constantly looking for ways to innovate and enhance
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • The capacity to efficiently operate under time pressure and advance projects without deadlines

  • Knowledge and comprehension of the specifics of the airline industry’s consumer interactions and data
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of marketing, ad-tech/mar-tech, loyalty programs, etc.
  • The capacity to generate original ideas and cutting-edge tactics to achieve tangible commercial results
  • A plus would be CDMP certification in one or more areas.
