Responsibilities:

The Financial & Reporting Analysis Analyst’s primary responsibilities will involve performing accounting tasks such as:

• Preparing journal entries
• Preparing account reconciliations with the ability to data mine and summarize transactions in a clear and concise manner
• Verifying the accuracy of the general ledger and being able to effectively communicate results to management
• Performing timely variance analysis for Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts
• Completion of accurate and t
• Fulfilling various quarterly reporting obligations to the corporate headquarters
• Presenting financial information to the leadership at month-end close calls

In addition, you’ll need to: Prepare monthly reports and schedules for analysis and summarization for leadership reviews Provide accounting support to external auditors for audits Submit bills for payment *Complete ad-hoc projects as required
This person must be able to make decisions, multitask, work in a fast-paced setting, and effectively communicate.

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows:

• At least 43,700
• Up to 100,000

Requirements:

Required credentials

3+ years of accounting or financial expertise, with a focus on month-end closure and analysis

Preferred Requirements

• Able to clearly show/explain what happened and accurately trace and analyze what has happened on a single account.
• Able to work with data in Excel for financial analysis and data presentation
• Collects and assembles information for analysis, and performs independent basic financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong multitasking and managing multiple priorities
• Self-directed; able to finish tasks/projects with little guidance
• Possesses analytical abilities as well as communication abilities (verbal and written)

Education

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or experience comparable.
• Degree in accounting or finance preferred
