Responsibilities:

• While on-site at freshly built facilities, identify and record any security flaws or deficiencies. assist the customer in ensuring that appropriate mitigating measures are done to address the vulnerability.
• Directly collaborate with other regional/local AWS teams to examine physical security-related policies, standards, and operational procedures to make sure they are in place before activating data center.
• Maintain close communication with the other SPEAR teams to guarantee ongoing coordination and collaboration.
• By establishing and keeping personal ties with important industry employees and manufacturers, you may ensure world-class-evolving evaluations by continuously monitoring industry trends and happenings.
• Contribute to the adjudications team’s and other AWS partners’ efforts to ensure that findings are properly mitigated.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to make sure that their needs come first for our team’s objectives.

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Although this is a remote employment, the ideal applicant should be based in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or the APJC region in order to save money and support a healthy work-life balance.
• Five or more years’ worth of expertise working together on the design, integration, installation, and implementation of physical security systems, including locks, access control, intrusion detection systems, and CCTV surveillance systems.
• An understanding of CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design).
• The capacity and desire to frequently go abroad.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office programs

FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• The capacity to fit in both domestic and foreign work situations.
• Knowledge of how to carefully prepare and carry out physical security evaluations and assessments to safeguard important assets and support the application of physical security standards to people, procedures, and security measures.
• Proven expertise in physical security best practices, including how to apply physical security, use access control systems, meet the needs of security guards, and recognize adversary tactics.
• A fundamental comprehension of the features and operations of data centers.
• Proven expertise and experience in group briefings and leadership.
• The capacity to successfully communicate physical security designs with both technical and non-technical people.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Proven ability to brief and communicate with management at all levels.
• The capacity to handle sensitive data with care.
