Responsibilities:
- Executing excellent application penetration tests either solo or in collaboration with a team * Developing complete engagement test strategies and meticulously recording results, gaps, and repair suggestions
- Supporting team creativity, tooling, and enhancements
- Interacting and working together to prioritize the resolution of security findings with partner teams, service owners, information security, and senior leadership.
Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of professional experience with security engineering techniques, such as: web application security, network security, authentication and authorization protocols, cryptography, automation, and other software security disciplines. * 3+ years of experience in a penetration testing or related offensive security role.
- Three or more years of expertise auditing manual and dynamic code for security flaws.
- Three or more years of expertise using compiled or interpreted languages (such as Python, Ruby, C/C++, Java, or.NET).
- Knowledge of threat modeling, design reviews, and other threat analysis methods
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related subject, or an equivalent level of work experience.
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of cloud service providers and their products, preferably AWS, and its many technologies and services. * Experience with network / whole stack penetration testing in cloud environments.
- Knowledge in a range of security-related fields, such as system and network security, authentication and security protocols, encryption, application security, and incident response.
- Knowledge of creating automation and security tooling.
- Knowledge of CVE research, Bug Bounty identification, or both.
- A graduate degree in computer science or a closely related discipline.
