Position Description:

Be a leading force in American’s move to focusing our sales programs on creating incremental value for our customers, increasing loyalty to AA, and selling through modern, consumer-friendly technologies.
Provide centralized insights from AA B2B performance and offer critical metrics and drivers to our front-line sales team.

What you intend to do

  • Install and integrate sales tools and technologies to increase the customer (traveler) experience, selection, and profitability.
  • Provide a common culture and support consistent execution for many systems such as SalesLink, Microsoft Dynamics, SalesBrain, D365, and others on a wide scale.
  • Responsible for driving increased self-service adoption among our retailers through our SalesLink solution.
  • Lead, mentor, and assist a team of two Sales Insights and Sales Automation Managers.
  • Manage a team that is in charge of establishing performance and productivity indicators for the Retailer/3rd party Support contact center as well as increasing self-service.
  • Monitors sales performance as measured by Revenue Analysis and uses that information to help and educate our sales team on the successful implementation of commercial plans.
  • Identify opportunities across many variables, such as route, channel, and customer behaviors.
  • Create/suggest activities to increase performance and share them with the Sales Effectiveness and Sales Automation teams in order to identify tools/training needed.
  • Provide productivity and effectiveness reporting as well as key performance indicators (KPIs) for our Retailer Support team.
  • Handle the Sales Organization’s centralized budget and business planning.
  • Rep Global Sales throughout the Commercial Organization
  • Be a thought leader in the development, implementation, and efficacy of our sales technologies, such as Microsoft Dynamics, SalesLink, SalesBrain, Customer Portals, and 365.
  • Report and measure impact using KPIs/metrics, and make recommendations for future adoption, reinforcement, and sustainability programs to track key performance objectives.
  • Provide a strategy and thought leadership for Global Sales CRM adoption, productivity, user experience, design, and reporting (Microsoft Dynamics)

Everything you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s/degree Master’s in related discipline required, or comparable experience/training
  • 7+ years of successful sales or related experience
  • Previous knowledge of contact center technology, software applications, and phone and computer systems is required.

Education and prior job experience are preferred qualifications.

  • Expertise assisting B2B sales teams in various capacities (i.e. coaching leaders and sales professionals, developing and delivering training on sales tools, sales skills, sales methodology, sales process)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Demonstrated experience conducting leadership and sales training, as well as coaching, to generate crucial reinforcement and acceptance of sales growth programs.
