Position Description:

Within our Fleet sector, FLEETCOR is presently seeking a Field Sales Representative. This position is associated with our Fuel business line and is based in Nashville. Within the greater Nashville area, you will advertise and sell our industry-leading Fleet Card/Fuel Purchasing systems. You will report directly to the Field Sales Manager and work closely with the Fleet field sales team on a regular basis.

Role Responsibilities

• Contacting prospective clients by phone, cold calls, email, and social media to schedule appointments.
• Conducting efficient sales calls that identify prospective clients’ goals, issues, and needs before recommending a Fuel Card solution to satisfy those requirements.
• Managing the process of onboarding new consumers
• Maintaining a diversified pipeline of prospective accounts
• Accounting for sales-related activities within Salesforce CRM

Qualifications and Abilities

• Three or more years of successful Field Sales experience in a B2B context
• College degree preferred
• Proven history of self-sourcing and soliciting for new appointments and leads
• Experience with effective time and sales area management
• Outstanding talents in call management, presentation, and closure
• Strong Business Acumen
• Experience and enthusiasm for selling in the SMB/SME market
• Self-Drive and the Capability to Work Independently
• Experience with working at home
• Effective written and spoken communication abilities
• Proficient knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
• Must be adept in the use of sales automation tools (Salesforce.com, ACT, etc.)
