Take the lead in improving operational worldwide risk at Amazon.com, where we have a history of setting the standard for cutting-edge products and services. In order to manage auto physical damage (APD) and property damage (PD) claims for its expanding global delivery fleet, Amazon is looking for a qualified logistics/auto risk analyst.
Responsibilities:
You will assist a Risk Manager in Global Risk Management & Claims and report to them, with an emphasis on third-party administrator (TPA) programs, process improvement, and claims management. The following duties are possible, but are not restricted to:
- Manage PD and APD claims for commercial clients.
- Collaborate closely with TPA partners to promote simplicity, efficiency, and cost containment while promoting continual improvement within the APD and PD space.
- Work together with internal and external teams to achieve common objectives.
- Create deft solutions that will significantly affect regular claim processing.
- Act as a subject matter expert on APD/PD for internal teams and TPA partners.
- Make use of subject matter expertise to thoroughly examine claim procedures, pose provocative questions, and create deft answers that will have an effect on program metrics.
- Assist internal audits to verify quality and compliance with client service guidelines and performance standards.
- Create and/or revise standard operating procedures in collaboration with vendors to ensure they support program objectives.
- Make data-driven judgments for process evaluations and recommendations by utilizing and developing metrics.
- Collaborate with other teams to share ideas, drive change, and complete projects.
Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- BS or BA from a recognized university
- Dealing with auto physical damage claims for three years or more
- 3+ years’ experience in arbitration and subrogation
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise with fleet or commercial vehicle claims
- Asserts to have leadership experience
- ARM, AIC, CPCU, or a comparable designation and auditing experience inside a claim organization
- Capacity and desire to take charge of projects
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the capacity to convey ideas effectively both orally and in writing.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to adjust to shifting processes and priorities.
- Worked well both independently and as a team, was at ease expressing their thoughts, and respected others’ viewpoints.
