Position Description

Cox Enterprises is looking for an experienced Remote Customer Care Specialist II to join its team. As a member of the customer service team, you will be responsible for providing customer support and developing foundational customer service skills. This is a full-time position requiring strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

– Serve as main customer support for the contact center.
– Respond promptly to customer inquiries through phone, email, and chat channels.
– Provide documentation within our systems and be knowledgeable of Manheim’s products and services.
– Partner with all parties informed of the status of open issues.
– Work closely with escalation partners to identify, document, and monitor any and all exceptions to the standard processes to create a list of best practices.
– Identify, assess, and resolve customer issues and determining who needs communication on these issues.
– Act as the single point of contact for customer issues from identification through resolution.
– Perform credit and collection overrides as well as have an absolute understanding of those circumstances which may prevent a dealer from buying and selling on Manheim.com and OVE.com.
– Provide floor support.
– Process emails effectively and professionally.
– Assist in the support of the Customer Care Coordinator function.

Qualifications

– High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
– OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.
– OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of contact center experience preferred.
– Travel required occasionally.
– Must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required.
– Multi-tasking, prioritizing, and excellent communication skills required.
– A foundational level of computer and technology understanding, including internet and email.
