Position Description:
Many food safety and quality assurance programs will be under the direction of the Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Supervisor. In this position, you will oversee the auditing and inspecting procedures that keep track of food handling, storage, and service operations to ensure compliance with the most recent standards for food safety and quality. A team of analysts or inspectors under your supervision will identify and assess the quality of raw materials, finished products, processes, and activities.
Major Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain quality control systems, product or process verification systems, sampling techniques, and analytical testing to guarantee that all goods produced adhere to the standards for food safety.
- Ensure that direct reports receive overall leadership, development, and talent management, including anticipating resource needs, hiring, performance management, budgeting, and budgeting.
- In order to be ready for new or revised food safety legislation, review the regulatory environment and create response methods.
- Examine food safety procedures to make sure they are followed, report any violations to management and regulating bodies, and create and carry out corrective action plans as needed.
- In order to improve procedures or products, assess suppliers or vendors for compliance with internal standards and external requirements.
- In charge of making personnel decisions for your direct subordinates regarding hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. The duties that team members on your team are undertaking will also take time from you.

Qualifications
- similar experience OR a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Minimum one year of experience working in a similar field
- leadership, inspiration, interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork, and the ability to complete tasks successfully have all been demonstrated.
- the capacity to apply technical knowledge to complicated testing and process issues
- effective communication skills, both in writing and speaking
- willing and able to work third shift, occasional weekends, and holidays as needed to meet production deadlines.
