Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with telehealth mental health treatments in compliance with laws, rules, and guidelines governing the field.
• Observe the evidence-based practice guidelines of AACAP and APA.
• Make initial mental health assessments and, if needed, follow up with patients.
• When necessary, diagnose mental disease, administer supportive psychotherapy, and provide psychoeducation.
• Administer psychiatric drugs and employ evidence-based psychopharmacology to treat patients.
• Inform patients on the possible side effects of their medications, as well as the advantages, alternatives, and risks associated with them.
• Arrange and decipher laboratory examinations
• Work together with other team members to effectively address each patient’s needs.
• Keep up your entire clinical caseload.
• Every day, check your inbox for patient messages.
• Answer clinical inquiries that are not urgently within 48 hours.
• After visits, sign notes within 48 hours.
• Complete records with the relevant CPT and ICD-10 codes

Requirements:

Essential:

• Licensure as an active nurse practitioner
• DEA license in effect
• Experience as a mature adult working with children

Optimal:

• Fluent in Chinese and Spanish
• Dedication to dealing with a range of diseases and demographics
• Dependable self-starter with the ability to function both individually and in a team
