Position Description:

The U.S. Forest Service (FS) is looking for support services for the creation, use, and upkeep of the VIPR program, which it uses to access a variety of easily accessible software assistance services. The services aid in the ongoing development, use, and upkeep of the VIPR application by Forest Service Procurement and Property Services (PPS).

Responsibilities and Obligations

• Organize, distribute, and schedule staff utilizing agile software development approach.
• Critical errors and other possible issues should be reported right away to COR and the Business Lead FS Program Manager (or FS Designee).
• With documentation and troubleshooting, support the team.
• Maintain the project’s modernisation strategy and release schedule.
• Lead and facilitate all scrum meetings, including the daily scrum, release/sprint planning, and demos.
• Eliminate obstacles inside the team and across functional lines, and escalate as necessary.
• Verify deliveries for conformity with contract terms.
• Help the team define the scope, roadmap, and vision for modernization.
• Report on the contractor’s overall success with this task order in a weekly contractor performance monitoring report.
• To describe the needs for development and modernization, work closely with the VIPR Business Lead, FS Program Manager (or FS Designee), and FS project teams. As required, take part in the formal VIPR change order procedure.
• Present accomplishments, risks & issues, and performance achievements to customers in monthly project management reviews.
• Control the quality of this work order.
• Ascertain that any work carried out in accordance with this job order conforms with all FS, USDA, and federal rules.
• Team members should receive regular coaching and feedback on their performance.
• Support internal activities, meet reporting needs, evaluate performance, and aid business development efforts as a manager for Dynamo.
