Position Description:

Our Professional Services Department is seeking a hardworking, innovative, and motivated Project Manager to contribute to our company’s continued success. This position will be a member of our Professional Services team and will serve as the primary implementation management resource in an exciting customer interaction role that combines business/operational knowledge and customer relationship skills to implement our software solutions successfully.

This position is accountable for managing customer engagements, the performance of the internal project team, and the functional and operational aspects of the project, such as its scope, budget, and schedule. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to be successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes resources effectively and adheres to deadlines to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for monitoring customer needs throughout the project’s lifecycle and ensuring that they are met as agreed.
  • Coordinates internal and external resources to ensure the quality of project outputs.
  • Provides direction and establishes or assigns authority for all project activities.
  • Participates in solution definition discussions and documentation.
  • Participates in the process of quality assurance.
  • Configures software components that are customer-specific.
  • Professionally and precisely completes detailed project plans and provides project milestone timelines.
  • Facilitates communication and takes the specific actions required to achieve organizational and customer objectives.
  • Interacts with customers, Alogent, and/or vendors to negotiate project coordination issues, intervals, and/or deliverables.
  • Provides status reports according to communication plans and project specifications.
  • As required, tracks and communicates project metrics to other Alogent organizations.
  • Meets the predetermined utilization goal.
  • Supports Executive Management and the Sales team in their efforts to manage customers and sales.
  • Recognizes and communicates the opportunity for additional product and/or service sales to existing customers. These statements are intended only to provide a general description of the job and should not be construed as an exhaustive list of duties.

Requirements:

  • Capability to simultaneously manage multiple software implementation projects.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Extensive familiarity with project planning instruments and techniques, including resource allocation, time management, and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Strong verbal, written, and oral presentation skills.
  • Capability to make presentations
  • As evidenced by your rapport with team members and other company personnel, you are a team player.
  • Capability to communicate clearly and professionally with individuals of varying ranks.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite for implementation management.
  • Capability to work remotely with minimal oversight.

Desired abilities and experience:

  • One or more years of experience overseeing the implementation of software solutions such as lending products, mobile and online banking, enterprise content management systems, retail banking teller systems, remote deposit capture, back-office check clearing systems, or comparable check processing solutions.
  • Prior experience with lending-related solutions is a plus.
  • Utilization and knowledge of project management tools.
  • Understanding of the sales lifecycle
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Prior experience with and knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Prior experience with and familiarity with a professional services automation (PSA) application.
  • PMI certification.
