Position Description:

Services for Professionals For the Dispensing organization, project management is in charge of overseeing all aspect of implementation and service initiatives. The project manager works closely with clients and directs implementation project teams to plan, schedule, and carry out every deliverable that falls under the purview of the project or program.

The Implementation Lead Project Manager’s broader responsibilities include:

  • To ensure the project is finished on schedule, successfully, and in accordance with organizational goals, departmental policies, established processes, and/or the standard terms and conditions of the contract, lead, facilitate, coordinate, and monitor daily activities.
  • Making and utilizing project plans for given projects, which include responsibility for project tasks and crystal-clear goals
  • successfully oversee the project’s scope, taking into account client priorities
  • Develop effective action plans for resolving threats to the project’s success using a proactive approach.
  • Manage or escalate project risks or difficulties as necessary.
  • Handling the product and service expectations of the customer
  • giving clients and the BD project team guidance and leadership
  • Showcase effective verbal and written communication abilities with clients, project teams, and leadership.

Ensuring client fulfillment

  • demonstrated capacity for managing project teams and serving as a successful team captain for all matrixed employees
  • accurately predicting quarterly revenue for each of the allocated projects for the current quarter
  • the application of all governance tools (scope document, project status reports, risk and change logs, toll gates, etc.), for all projects that have been allocated, in order to manage all projects efficiently
  • provides helpful feedback on the performance evaluation process through peer review.
  • Responsibilities, duties, and abilities specific to the position of lead project manager:
  • demonstrates understanding of widely used project management techniques
  • exhibits in-depth knowledge and comprehension of project management approaches, as well as pertinent clinical and IT operations, and has expertise managing healthcare projects.
  • knowledge of patient medication management workflow
  • demonstrates an awareness of the expectations for the governance of the implementation project (scope management, tollgate, and risk & change management processes)
  • has charge of orders, teams, or projects of a medium to large size.
  • The project’s scope must have a significant impact on the customer’s workflow (multi-site)
  • oversees the project’s scope for several dispensing products.
  • keeping the project’s timeline and schedule
  • meeting forecasting and backlog management standards
  • participates in the pre-sale process for projects of a medium or large scale
  • provides peers and the project team with coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • demonstrates strong customer engagement and communication
  • able to collaborate well across multiple disciplines (e.g. TSC, Sales, Finance)
  • Makes certain that all project requirements are met, such as customer acknowledgement, equipment reconciliation, and transfer to TSC.
