Position Description

Technovation, the world’s largest technology entrepreneurship program for girls, is seeking a Program Manager for its global Chapter Ambassador Community team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for empowering girls from underrepresented communities and possess previous volunteer management or community-building experience. Technovation aims to reach 25 million girls and young women across 100+ countries in the next 15 years. Reporting to the Sr Program Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for building relationships with existing and potential partners, providing support to Chapter Ambassadors, developing and executing regional strategies, coordinating and leading initiatives, monitoring and evaluating program impact, and supporting fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in specified regions
• Provide training and support to Chapter Ambassadors
• Develop and execute regional strategies
• Coordinate and lead initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate program impact
• Support fundraising efforts

Qualifications

• Has excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
• Has 3+ years of volunteer management or community-building experience
• Is familiar with educational environments and can support systems that promote quality learning experiences
• Has a track record of building and maintaining relationships with community organizations or schools
• Is a self-starter and resourceful
• Has a deep understanding of cultural differences
• Is comfortable analyzing and learning from data to help develop strategies
• Loves learning new things and is open to dynamic, changing environments
