Position Description:

We move over a TRILLION USD in 27 markets, covering 20+ of the most important schemes (ACH, BACS, SEPA), with a roadmap to interface with emerging Real Time Rails and mask the complexities of money processing. The development of next-generation Card Bill Pay and Biller platform capabilities is a vital component of the roadmap.

Principal Duties

• Manage a product management and ownership team in charge of Push Payments and the market expansion of modern BillPay features.
• Product roadmaps and modernisation strategies are shared with important stakeholders (Product, Engineer, Operations, Business owners, Market Teams)
• Lead the discovery and visualization of Push Payment capabilities that will power critical customer journeys, teaching the team to create capabilities, features, user stories, and success criteria.
• Specifies the BillPay requirements for each market to be included in global platform and market expansion releases.
• Lead modernization deployment strategy, building a framework for enablement expansion, and growing modern BillPay capabilities globally.
• Owns work prioritization across different scrum teams, facilitating delivery sequencing inside Push Payments, and modernize market expansion.
• Creates and evaluates product/platform delivery metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Works with portfolio teams to discover opportunities to increase delivery predictability, speed to market, and business value delivery iteratively.
• To leverage on the significant investment made in the payment process, the position demands a desire to constantly learn and implement ground-breaking product and technology procedures within a dynamic and highly matrixed environment.

Internal Qualifications

• Product development experience, Agile techniques, and scalable product delivery
• A strong interest in developing payments, as well as awareness of Biller payments capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive platform capability delivery plans and roadmaps that meet the needs of the enterprise
• Strong Agile attitude, coaching team experience leading technical discovery and specification of products, user stories, and success metrics
• Strong track record of implementing big, complex, and transformational modernization efforts while managing a Product Team.
• Capable of timing and prioritizing capability delivery across numerous scrums in order to optimize delivery.
• Ability to effectively engage with internal and external product, engineering, and architecture teams in order to work efficiently in uncertainty and rapidly changing priorities.
• Good cooperation abilities – the capacity to negotiate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
• Good communication and listening skills; capacity to develop relationships, influence choices, and make things happen in the absence of direct authority
• Demonstrated ability to create change, including driving the adoption of new ways of working and leveraging scaled Agile methods to drive product development and delivery.
